      Sorry GePap...

      Chicago style is better.

Its the crust that does it.

I would suggest going to a bar with GePap and any other NYC area Polytubbies.

You're insane. You just don't know the right places. You probably get trapped into the out of towner places. Southie, Charlestown, Dorchester, Easton, Malden are where the real Italian stuff is.

Though of course any will do mighty fine, since New York has the best pizza in the world. That crap from Chicago can't even compete.

Italian style pizza - you mean the real, not Usianized, pizza?

yes, I have never eaten one.

I would think Italian style pizza would be one you only find in Italy. Or perhaps some authentic italian restuarants. Not the restaurants that call themselves authentic but aren't .

I had italian food in italy. It tasted bland . I suspect most italian restaurants in the U.S. put more spices in the food to improve the taste. So you could say there are no authentic italian restaurants in the U.S. Or maybe I just happened to eat at a crappy restaurant in Italy.

Real Chicago pizza isn't the thick crust stuff that goes for Chicago style around the country. A Chicago style pizza is actually a stuffed pizza, with two lawyers of crust, the toppings in the middle, and the sauce on top. The closest thing that you can find is the stuffed pizza at Sbarro's (unless there's a Gino's East or a Pizzeria Uno near you).

I actually make my own stuffed pizzas at home, and they are probably the best pizzas in Ft. Lauderdale.

Some might argue that Chicago style pizza is deep dish, and not stuffed... stuffed is just one version of a deep dish pizza

And New York pizza can't even compare to a good ole Chicago Style Pizza...

Actually, I get trapped there because, well, it's right across the street from Emerson, and we study late.

None of the places I've been to have real original pizza. Though there was this Greek place down the street from my apartment that was decent.

I have to go with Ming on this one.

And I've eaten at Gino's East in Chicago a few times.
