Yeah those are f*cked. So the mullahs don't want their kids to be f*cked, right?
but they seem ok with sending money and weapons to folks who like to f**k palestinian kids by recruiting them to be suicide bombers.

Perhaps, and the 13 year old Iranian boys might not mess with the 16 year old Iranian gays if there were better conditions in Iran. But the regime doesnt consider that an excuse for the 16 year olds who molested the 13 year olds. So its not an excuse for the mullahs who are helping to have 13 year olds turned into suicide bombers.

Lotm, that might be consistent in their values. I don't care if it is, though, I'd rather see a general decline of the DP than this mourning about DP for gays.
Wait a minute, does Iran apply the Sharia law as a whole? I thought Saudi Arabia was the only country so extreme. Of course it won't matter since Iran's jurisdictiona lsystem will be intransparent anyway, but I'd like to know their official stance on the matter.
Hey LOTM if the US wasn't so pron on installing their own puppet leader in IRAN to controll the oil maybe there wouldn't even be an islamic revolution. They're the Persians you know. Historical people.

I dont think this is quite equivalent to the DP for murder. I think its an expression of something else.

I don't know. I think that there was bound to be an Islamic revolution anyway. In fact Saudi Arabia had one in the 1920s, when a group of Wahabiists got upset over the importation of radio and automobiles. They didn't count on the enormous advantage that armored cars, planes, and automatic weapons gave the king's forces over their 19th century single shot rifles. Had they been as sophisticated in the art of guerilla warfare as the Islamicists of today the modern history of the middle east might have been quite different. The fact is that there have been anti-modern factions among middle eastern muslims since the beginning of the 19th century when the sultan of the Ottomaqns attempted to modernize his army.

Doctor,
there are fractions and tendecncies of all sorts in all sorts of countries. Even in developped "western" european countries there are some screwed up tendencies, let me tell you. However, if you want something to succeed you're bound to rally under one single banner that's powerful enough to unite people against something else. Islam maybe that "something" in muslim countries.

So bascially you're agreeing with me?
I think that there may be some people who join in on the jihad because it functions as a focus for their frustrations with the current state of international affairs, i.e., western intrusion into middle eastern politics. For a very large portion of these folks however the religious aspect is dominant.
