Some posters claims that this killing is both intended and planned by the police. Following this way of thinking, then a group of policepersons may have decided (or have been ordered) to pick out someone they could be secure would react as they wanted - that is run from the police instead of stand still and get interviewed by the officers involved.

Well, they find such a person (don't ask me how they were able to pinpoint a person that would act as desired - my guess is that certain people will claim that the police has means to manipulate people so they act as they want). Ok, the victim is found and the show starts. Officers yells the usual stuff "police, stop" etc, but the victim acts as programmed - he run, and of course in the direction that will give the right excuse to execute him.

If you wonder who and why police want to make such an incident, then there are several possible reasons. One is plain training of personnel - one thing is to exercise such things on a practice ground, but it is still better to do it with live ammo and a real victim. Another could be that the police officers involved was bored and wanted to have some fun while demonstrating their big guns. A more sinister plan could of course be that Blair wanted to prepare the ground for making this kind of actions whenever police wants to ask people a question. Considering that he is a socialist, it isn't unrealistic.

I guess that any lover of conspiracy theories will accept all this as reasonable and will deny that simpler explanations may be the truth - nothing can be simple.

Simple such as the guy for some reason panics and do the wrong thing - that is run. Such as the police knows that there has been four succesfull bombings an four failured. Such as the only secure way that has ever been known to prevent suicide bombers from detonating their bombs with securtiy is to shoot the person in the head.

Oh, I can already feel that some are writing that the Israelis has managed to do such things without killing - well, I also know this story, and there are some small differences. That guy that the Israelis found and caught was identified at a checkpoint out in the open - he didn't run anywhere - he wasn't in any way near to potential victims - he listened to the orders the Israeli police gave him. Please tell me how this is similiar to a person in an Londonian subway station, one who doesn't respond to police orders but instead runs to a place where a bomb will make more damage.
