I'm in a luxurius hotel at the lobby and there are 2 or 3 elevators. I take one and I press a button, say the 5th floor. Then the elevator (which is very small) starts going up rather fast. I start getting anxious. Then it approaches the floor for which I've pressed the button and it doesn't stop! It passes it! And it keeps going and going and going. Then it stops at a very high level, let's say 50th floor or something like that. Then it starts making noises and none of the buttons do anything. And I'm like god i'm going to die!!! But the second time I saw this dream the door opened and I jumped-crawled out right on the floor on the lux carpet. Didn't see it again. Don't know what it could signify
I have had a very similar dream.

In my dream I had been riding in a strange elevator that not only moved vertically, but also horizontally. After picking up a nerdy looking girl, the elevator rose to the top of the building, and then moved sideways across a rail towards an ajoining building. To my horror the elevator car suddenly accelerated out of control. When it approached the downward leg of its course, it couldn't slow in time and jumped the rail. As the nerdy girl and myself plunged to our death in a breathtaking dive, I had time enough to repent of my sins (despite renouncing Christianity I might add.)

In this dream, I have an argument with one of my sisters - we are all together in some indeterminate place. I get in the car angry, and tell my wife we are going.

Blank. I'm in the hospital. I'm on the phone arguing with my wife's parents. My spine is broken, and I am now paralyzed from the waist down. I'm in a body cast, and I want to go to my wife's funeral. They won't wait for me.

I argue with the doctors, and force the issue. I get a medical transport ambulance, and it starts trying to get me to Cleveland in time for the funeral. The jolts are agony.

I jerked awake at that point. I've had a worse one concerning my little girl.

I had a dream about civ1 recently. It is not the first time that I have a dream about a computer game but it is very strange because I have not played civ for two years and I have not played civ1 for nearly ten years.

I clearly remember discovering a medium sized island/continent with my ship and unloading some military units and a diplomat. I don't remember any contact with the native civ. I also remember that the whole continent was roaded and irrigated. On the next turn one of the cities went into disorder and I immediately took the opportunity to buy it at half price without causing war.

There is nothing strange in this dream except for the fact that I have not played civ1 in ages.

All new electric garage doors sold in the US must have an emergency release cord. If you look, I'd assume that yours has one also.
Your dream is telling you that you must check and verify that it works, in case you weren't really dreaming.

I've had the "dreams within dreams" quite often, although I've only managed to go two deep. Three would be crazy

I had this weird dream, but I can't remember it.
It was yesterday morning I believe. I was thinking about posting it, but have since forgot it.

Not real important. It's just strange how the mind can warp reality so much in dreams.
