Weird dreams

Have any of you guys had any weird dreams lately?


I just had this dream this morning:

In the first part of the dream I got into an accident and went into a coma for about a year. As I woke up I couldn't recognize the place I was in and there was nobody around. I thought I had just slept a few hours so I went home (which wasn't the place I live now). My house was some two-story building with lots of windows (from top to bottom almost all around the house). What shocked me the most was that my house had been changed into a huge aquarium, but all my furniture was still inside the house
What happened then I don't remember, but I imagine that I somehow got all the water out of the house and then I went to sleep
The next thing I remember was me waking up with some woman standing infront of me who told me what happened to me. She also told me I was dating her doughter. What scared me about this was the fact that she only had one eye (like that girl in Futurama)
The next thing she did was to call her doughter from my phone, though I have no idea how that phone could still be working after being under water for about a year


I guess the most unrealistic part in this dream was me dating someone

I've seen this dream twice but fortunately it has stopped. But it was scary, I think it can be qualified as a nightmare.

I'm in a luxurius hotel at the lobby and there are 2 or 3 elevators. I take one and I press a button, say the 5th floor. Then the elevator (which is very small) starts going up rather fast. I start getting anxious. Then it approaches the floor for which I've pressed the button and it doesn't stop! It passes it! And it keeps going and going and going. Then it stops at a very high level, let's say 50th floor or something like that. Then it starts making noises and none of the buttons do anything. And I'm like god i'm going to die!!! But the second time I saw this dream the door opened and I jumped-crawled out right on the floor on the lux carpet. Didn't see it again. Don't know what it could signify

So you go into coma and you were single, but when you came back you were dating someone? YOu started to date someone while in coma?

Funilly enough some days after I've seen this dream the elevator in my building started making noises! A metal thingy below the elevator's floor has been slightly misplaced and it touches the walls as the elevator goes up and down (true! coincidense of course )

Apparently so, since I remember that the last thing I saw before going into a coma was a bus driving with high speed towards me... at that point I didn't have a gf

Maybe it's the "Back to the Future 1" story that happened here*

In interpreting dreams, I have found it helpful to look passed what is going on in the dream and instead to focus on the emotional reaction to those goings on.

paiktis22, I think your dream signifies that your subconscience is dealing with the fact that matters in your life which should be mundane have recently gone out of control. Either they already have, or you have a fear that they might in the near future.

On Friday night I dreamt my best friend/occassional something else slit one of my fingers with a knife during sex, then cut up one of my arms and wrist.

Was an odd dream, esp as he was sleeping next to me at the time.

In my most recent I was at hte beach with this girl I kind of like nad we were on a date, and the tide came in but it was sjut this big (20 feet tall) wall of water. It was all flat and stuff, just like water.

I wlaked into it, and I wlaked around inside the water, and everything was beautiful and cool, and I could breathe.

The coolest part, was how the tide that I was in was apparently fesh water, because I could see the shimmering between that and the salt water. It was amazing.

Anyways, later on we were all having dinner with grandparents inside of this hotel that was like 10 feet from the water's edge at the beach and there were huge gunky tidal waves smashing into this sliding glass door right in fornt of us, but nothing broke.

I had a weird dream recently.

In the dream I found myself lying in my bed, there was somebody making strange noises in my room, I wanted to scream but I can't, and I was unable to switch on the light.

Somehow realizing that was a dream, I woke up. I found myself lying in my bed, there was somebody making strange noises in my room, and I was unable to switch on the light.

Somehow realizing that was a dream, I woke up. I found myself lying in my bed, the person who was making strange noises was out in the living room, and switching on the light required me to get up and go down a flight of stairs.

Nothing strange about the dream itself, except it's kinda like a dream within a dream within a dream within a dream. Something like that.

I had an interesting dream in the early hours...

For a bit of clarity, I work in the funeral industry at the moment.

In the dream I was preparing bodies for funeral, not at work, but in my sister's old bedroom back at home. Outside the window was a scene that shouldn't have been there - kind of like inner city backstreets.

A body arrived that was a shotgun inflicted suicide. I braced myself to expect the worst, but his face and head was intact. I puzzled over this. Meanwhile another body arrived that was oddly deformed. It kind of had stubby legs and arms, and a strangely elongated neck with gill like ridges. I had a bad feeling about it.

My workmate began preparations on the odd corpse. As he leaned forward to tie up the mouth, I suddenly screamed for him to get away from it. Too late. The creature jerked up and bit my colleague on the neck. I instantly knew that my friend was now infected, and that I had to escape.

By the time I reached the front garden, I understood that this incident would lead to a city wide infection. This was the beginning of the end of civilization. I wanted to get to my car and drive and drive and drive.

When I reached the garage, I realised that in my panic to escape, I had forgotten the remote control to open the door. The thought of entering into that charnel house of horror, crawling with the living dead waiting to pounce, was too much. I woke to find dawn's first light outside.

As I listened to the morning bird chorus, I contemplated the problem of having an electrically operated garage door. I worried that if there was ever a power outage and I needed to get away in a hurry, my car would be trapped. I mused over this problem before returning to sleep and forgetting my dream until now.
