I drank to get drunk. When I came of age I just changed drinking locations.

At least if you get drunk young it hurts less when you fall over

It hurts less all the way round. I can't (and won't) do today what I did twenty years ago.

Some folks can handle a family life at an early age. Drinking is a big difference. I used to think if you can go to adult jail at the age of 17 why cant you have a beer. The answer I found was that most young folks dont drink for any reason other to get very drunk.
I have to disagree a little. I got my first drink at 14 or so and of course had a couple of occasions where my dinner was sent into the toilet the wrong way, but when I figured that part out, drinking was more a tool to get in contact with girls. No girls want a drunk guy and neither do a guy want a drunk girl - actually I more or less stopped drinking at 18 and the next 10 years. Then I discovered the great universe of wine and has since been hooked

“Maybe the 21 law isn’t fair, but I don’t know that I’m in the business of being fair when it comes to saving lives,” Moscato said. “I’m not the fair queen. So I’m sorry if it’s not fair, but it’s right.”
Great! Since poor people commit the vast majority of violent crime, we can cut the violent crime rate by quite a bit simply by putting all poor people in prison!

Since minorities commit a disproportionate amount of violent crime, we can also reduce violent crime by hard core racial profiling!

Idiot. I hate people in charge of alcohol-related institutions such as MADD, and the one in the quote, simply because they are morons when it comes to using logic. Saving lives isn't the point, in the United States - the point is equal rights and justice.

I think Im a bit to old for the young dating crowd but do you think the guys and gals enjoy the tipsy date rather then the drunk??

If your data is correct, I'm in fact precisely 10 years older than you

I think that you misread me - I quickly found out that no girls was especially interested in a drunk boy, but a beer or two on both sides seems to loosen up things

As far as my data if your 46 then you are indeed 10 years older then me I must say when i was young i didnt loke the drunk guy, but the guys would love to pick up the drunk girls.. not for a relationship but for a lay for the night. I cant count on one hand how many girls I didnt let get taken advantage of. I dunno i think guys like drunk girls more then girls like drunk guys

For Illinois, that would have cut a nearly $64 million hole in the state’s purse in 2004.
Wait, so if a state as big as Illinois only gets $64 million dollars for this bull, that means AR is probably only forfeiting some pocket change...

How can one look up data on federal highway funding per state, though?

That's about $4 per person - a state tax on increased alcohol sales would make up the difference.

In Vermont, where NYRA was campaigning heavily, it was about $9.7 million the state stood to lose. We figured much of that could be made up with increased tax revenue and tourism and such.

No offense taken - usually I can think in english, but on occasions danish notation mingles into my writing wich can be confusing

Yeah, it's my age, but it was the birthday that caught my eye - same as mine - besides my boss, you are the second I know of that is borne on that day - it makes it a lot easier to keep track of how old you are

I guess that you are right about guys taking advantage of drunk girls, but if I recall right, girls very rarely got that drunk back when I was young - could it be that girls are drinking more heavily nowadays ?

It still amuses me that Ozzy tied youth binge drinking to the drinking age .
