    A quote from Information today:

    Dansk Folkeparti is the rightwing party we have in support of our Government. I would like the Government more if they had not made an unholy alliance with this party.

    What have become of the days when every dominating wing of the Folketing allied itself with the midth of the Folketing?

          Maybe because there are no center any longer since CD didn't get in and RV moved to the left of SD.

          For non-danes, Information is just as much to the left as Fox news is to the right

            Some commentators say that Dansk Folkeparti is the new center, whom both the left and right side of Parliament have to court - if they want to form a majority.

            It's just that the government is better at courting than the lefties.

                      Fascist state, no. Those must be the Swedes you're thinking of. Most Danes have retained rather a healthy view on the level of state interference they want in their lives.
