I used it for a couple month. It updates itself and it scans my computer each night. But it never found anything. Is the damn thing working?

I use noadaware, spybot, and Microsoft. Rarely have anything.
Also use Registry Mechanic, and for the life of me, can't understand how anyone doesn't use it, or something. That's where I get hits.

I use adaware most of the time, this has the best chance of finding anything that shouldn't be there
With Spybot I have never found anything... ok, that's not true, it did find something but it never managed to remove it (after next reboot it's back). After doing this several times I gave up
Microsofts anti-spyware is the last option, but it still manages to find spyware that adaware couldn't find
I've given up on spybot now
But so far the best anti-spyware app I have is Firefox, not much gets inThis space is empty... or is it?

I haven't had any virus scanner or antispyware software on my computer in ages and my computer's just fine. The best defense against viruses and spyware is not being a moron.
