I've just heard that they are cordening off central london, no tubes, no buses even no taxis. Still this is not confirmed - just what people are telling me.

****......best to stay home/in work untill we know what exactly is happening.

apparantly all the emergency causlty medics have been scrambled(a nurse friend just told me that a few mos ago), and i'm hearing lots of sirens. No traffic on earls court road that i can see.

Several buses indeed, that's a terror act then.

Besides, with all British security concentrated at G8, this is the best possible time for terrorists to hit London.

Wouldn't Reading Station be a juicy target right now? The services from there would be on alert for London, all the commuter traffic would be turning around there...

It's a link with some facts that were current at the turn of the page.

                    Scotland Yard. Bombs.

                    Damn.

Anyone remember the docudrama last year sometime when terrorists attacked the tube and then followed up with a dirty bomb on the rescue services. Let's hope they didn't watch it.

Bus supposed to be a tourist bus.

That is terrible news. Luckily there are only dozens of civil casualties.
