    Jesus wept

What is the full story so far? IO've only got the net as an info source, and the BBC site has not been updated in an hour...
You just wasted six ... no, seven ... seconds of your life reading this sentence.

Tube paralysed completely, bomb went off in Russel Square, top deck of a bus destroyed (outside British Medical Association). Scotland Yard reports 3 bus bombs in central London.

London has obviosly been annihilated by terrorist tripods, which is why we don't get any news from there.

Tavistock Square is the latest bomb blast (not far from Russel Square), outside the BMA.

Cnn is reporting that the power outage is just what the passengers are being told.
That doesn't mean it has anything whatsoever to do with the real cause ...

                        Wait... hold on...

The Underground uses national grid power (DC) to power its lines. The only way an explosion can realisticially occur would be within the AC/DC transformer (Nat Grid/Undergound), and although these can explode they would be a long way away from the actual train lines.

                          Ok, what's happening?
                          - 5 explosions in subway system
                          - 1 bus exploded

                          any idea about casualities?
Rumor about 2 more explosions in busses in London? What's true?

                          cnn.com says nothing about this.

I heard about a collision too. It sounded to me like there was some sort of power failure that led to both an explosion and two trains colliding. The wounded people coming out to the street could have simply injured themselves while escaping through broken train windows.
It doesn't explain the reported bus bombs, though.
The enemy cannot push a button if you disable his hand.

Well one bus bomb has gone off as far as i've heard, people mentioning two more on busses somewhere. They're thinking it's a terrorist attack now, with multiple attacks like in Madrid.
