        You should travel more. Trade barriers between European nations have relaxed quite a bit since the Napoleonic Wars....

        The point is, why on earth would you want all these items of food altogether at one sitting?

        Unless of course you're M. Gourmet from 'The Meaning of Life' and happy to stick them all in a bucket....

            My point of course, was that America's cuisine reflected its ethnic diversity- there's no 'pure' cuisine any more.
