To be painfully honest, Hip Hop is electronic music, too.

Yes, I'm well aware of that. (I admit I'm not a big Hip Hop fan: most of it sucks, IMO.) You didn't have to be painfully honest. But dv8ed doesn't know beans about all this, and he obviously meant a specific type of electronic music, House and Techno.Let us be lazy in everything, except in loving and drinking, except in being lazy – Lessing

Seriously, though, I can't believe any of you people support this. Large venues full of young people that have drug usage? SCANDAL, NEWS AT 10. In that case, I say we ban rock concerts, and oooh, I know, LAN parties."The Christian way has not been tried and found wanting, it has been found to be hard and left untried" - GK Chesterton.

well i'd say the drug use in house and techno venues is pretty high, but it's (generally) coke rather than pills or phet.

In the UK coke is MUCH more wisespread than it was even 5 years ago, its taken over from pills as 'the drug of choice' for clubbers.
Just a note on that legislation outlawing 'raves' in the UK, all it did was to help the rise of the superclubs in the UK like MoS and Cream, it just moved the drug use and let big business profit from it.

Coke has come down in price (nearly halved) in the last 10 years, it's also lost it's 'middle class, 30 something reputation' and is just much more obtainable now.

I don't know about London, but if you buy enough up here and know where to go its about £30-£35 a gram.Originally posted by Az
How much does a dose cost in the Greater London area?
No matter what, even if you are just buying 1 gram, you should never pay more than £45.
