Even though the WTC towers were iconic, they were ugly.
But this new design is neither beautiful nor iconic. It's a real shame too because of the significance of the space to the country.
Rebuilding the WTC towers is a bad idea, but a better idea than building this design.I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. All buildings are technically boring because all buildings will have no shortage of pretentious artsy critics who say they are ugly or boring.
