Powell is a war hero, a true american and a true patriot, I would cross party lines in an INSTANT and vote for him, even though he is a republican, if he ran.... his wife won't let em though..... such a familly man! Won't run because it scares his wife...... I disagree with most of his politics but he is a GOOD GUY which is a rare quality for any politician. He is proboably the only guy in the Bush regime not neck deep in corruption.

Actually, he wouldn't run because his wife was treated for major depression some years back, and he's unwilling to let the press have their way with her psychiatric history...which just reinforces what a class act he is.
