some people like to name inanimate objects. I never really have.

I don't name my vehicle. though sometimes I like to treat it nice after I've been hard on it . If I'm driving really hard and fast, sometimes I'll go easy on it for a bit.

In the navy we named things like our reactors. They were named 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B, 4A, and 4B. (to make it easier to say we used the phoenetic alphet. A is alpha, and B is bravo) That was more for operational sake. It sure would be confusing if we didn't do that.

and no, I don't name my penis either.

      My computer's name is Cloud

      My dog's names have been:
      Bobbin-Dog (didn't name that one) (1978-1989)
      Cloud (1992-2002)
      Diamond (more recently) (living)

I've named a lot of plush animals that I use as decorations: I have a salamander that overlooks my computers (Sal), a buzzard who thinks he's an eagle- (Albert), a fat rooster (Bob), a giant squid (Squidi), a wolf (Royalie), a small toy duck from my childhood- (Duckie) and a bunch of blue security blanket rags- (the Littles- the starched ones were soldiers, the soft ones were regular littles.)

We have two bunnies. One is named snowstar, she's white with a few bronish spots. The other is named moose. He's the color of chocolate moose.

I call them tasty and tidbit just to freak out the kids.

NOOOOOO! NOOOOOOOOOO! Dad, they're not for eating!

Well, how about if we stew them for just a little while, then make up our minds?
