Yes, AH -- the votes are cumulative.

    • Though once or twice the numbers were zeroed for one of the rounds in the past (since we were in the midst of converting from OT-only voting to on-topic and OT) In the interest of not diluting the voting.

Within the next two rounds I may drop the first bracketed column in the row (since I think that election took place when the voting was only in the OT), but it probably won't happen next election since I cannot confirm that possibility, and really- it's not that big a deal if you notice that most people only have (5) or (3) in that first row (with the exception of about 3 who have (15) or (20) who would admittedly be annoyed if the voting was reset from that round.

I think my best vote tally is in that column!

It would be an academic complaint anyway, not like I'm heading for the top like some nasty looking floater.

I kind of like the system. It makes it tough for a group of people to have an instant impact. Votes are collected over time, and it kind of evens out the individual election period swings. I look at most of the people who have tons of votes, and they are all good candidates.
Exactly. All the real travesties on the list sneaked in during the first couple of years.

As I said, (although I realize that I worded it very badly) I would NOT drop it NEXT election, but I would consider about dropping it for the december one- however feedback has been resoundingly negative on this propostion- thus the carry-overs may remain.

Though I still need to look up whether that election was done before the thing was opened up to the entire site. IF it was done before the election was opened up to the entire site, it'll have to be deleted for reasons of consistency- like the others have gradually been faded out (other carryovers- as I stated before; 2 carryovers were deleted in the past) . but as before stated- no changes will be made until at least december- and possibly none even then, as this isn't that big of an issue in the first place and it's less work for me not to retally the votes by subtracting a deleted column of results.

I guess I never really payed attention to who's in. So I took a look. I suppose you are referring to yo yo yo hey hey and stewart spink.

in fact, I never payed attention to this hall of fame until the last year or so.
