              • Have fun everyone. Try to stay out of the way of desperate politicians trying to make a deal.

                    • Well I am back now too, Dauphin is still missing in action in Bavaria I had a fantastic time, although I certainly was not impressed by Belgium and Brussels. Amsterdam is cool as per usual and Berlin and surrounding area was great. Also many thanks to Ec the lion and his family, BeBro and Zop for their unparalleled hospitality

                      • It was quite fun to meet the UKers and Ecty, despite (or because? ) I had some problems initially to understand them. But after the first beer it was much better.

Great to hear you had fun too

                        • Yeah, we have accents which aren't American so you may not get exposure to them as much. But it shouldn't take too long to adapt. Andy had the same problem when he met us all but he quickly got used to it.

                          See, we're not that bad

                          • Yep it were great got to practice my German for a bit as well. Its amazing to me that despite all the drink you guys can still speak that fluently in another language

One thing I noticed about the groups of youngs girls wandering about the place, was the acres of denim that must be sold in Germany. The fashion seemed a little behind what we have here, with the occasional tough chav type thrown in to make it fell like England

                            • The other thing is Snotty is that you got to see very little of Potsdam. You saw a bit of a street leading from the train station which looks fairly ordinary...it really didn't do the place justice...Potsdam is a really beautiful city...

                              • Yup definetly something for next time, but I only made it with 15 minutes left to check in as it was. Which was slightly nerve wracking to wake up to after I fell asleep on the train

I would highly recommend staying at the christian shelter place in Amsterdam, as long as you arent the loud lairy type. It was clean and cheap, and apart from an occasional snore in our 16man dorm, it was quiet as well.
