      • I actually got drunk, I think...

I was drinking at the party, and never got buzzed, which I think means I was drunk

(of course, that means I drove drunk...)

        (which is bad)

            • Post some pictures.

But I guess its for the best that I cut out early, since I don't drink at all. You guys no doubt had more fun at the bar without me, heh.

              • I get along with nondrinkers just fine, I think.

And the meet was not one of drunkiness, at least not on my part (although as I said, I think I was a little drunk).

                • *brief appearance*

I agree, it was not like we were on a drinking binge of any kind. Just loosening up a little, and I also think the snaps served its intended purpose.

I've seen the National Air & Space Museum which was a blast for me, and some other things also. I'll be heading out for the American History Museum soon. Really have to be indoors during the daytime..

Much better computer here at the lobby BTW.

Looking forward to some pictures also, mostly the ones I took myself, since I won't be in'em.

                  • Had a great time. It was good fun to meet Winston and Ozzy and it see the rest of you lot again.

I must have lost a lot of water, because I drank gallons and gallons on Sunday...
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

                    • How about those pictures, guys?

I bought a digital camera in Washington, and what do you know, the very same day I managed to knock my old camera off a counter and break it... /

But as a result, I was forced to quickly learn the ways of the new one - and it's just great. I'll probably get myself a scanner when I'm back home, so I should be able to post some pictures from the meet at some point.

Anyway, my trip is coming to an end now, tomorrow I fly home out of NYC, taking with me a LOT of positive experiences and impressions. But after nearly 3 weeks, it'll be nice to get back home. Just the thought of putting on a jacket again, or maybe even a coat, fills my heart with sweet nostalgia...

Oh, and Washington D.C. was clearly the bigger thrill for me over New York. Not that the latter was disappointing in any way, it's just so much on a different note from D.C. For me personally, it doesn't even come close.

Now that I've met you, it's stranger to hear that in your deep Danish voice.

Also, I had a great time. Good to hear that you've survived NYC

Good to hear everything went well.

Sorry I couldn't make it. Next time perhaps.

                            • Honey, I'm home!

                              Honey...? ... Oh, that's right.

                              Anyway, I really am.

                              Return trip went just fine.

I'll turn my Washington films (160 pictures, including the ones from the meet) in for developing today.

After that and some unpacking, some much needed rest and relaxation.

                              I like smilies.
