By contrast, Bush is currently using public funds to hold "town meetings" that you can't get into if you appear in any way obviously (through t-shirt, button, bumper-sticker, etc. ) opposed to his policies.
Dialogue is the essence of democracy. But our leaders want monologue, and not even much of that. That's the difference.
