  • Splenda, Dawn of the Dead, and there's a creature living in the wall next to me.

What is Splenda anyway? It's in alot of the diet stuff these days and I get alot of it. Will it do me in?

I'm watching 'Dawn of the dead'. No zombies yet.

Also, there is a critter living in the wall next to my comp. I've named him Zed. Could be a rat or mouse, but also might be a racoon. Makes loud thumping noises sometimes.

    Ok, we've got zombies.

Splenda is a yummy artificial sweetener:

“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Man, this is a good flick. Zed likes it too.

CT, how so? Imran's link doesn't say it's bad.

      Imran, link, thanks

Maybe you should reduce the amount of "funny" mushrooms on your pizzas
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

I assume it's the recent Dawn of the Dead remake, yes? Not as good as the original, but it makes up for it with brilliant opening and ending sequences. Sit through the credits.

ajbera, it was excellent. Did you watch the DVD? It has a clip with a tape the guy across the street made. Watching that now.

Wild, wonder if they'll do a sequel? A like wierd survival type stuff.

"See this one? (Pulls out large drawer with body bag flopping around) I gave him an autopsy. Removed his heart and lungs. During the process the subject never stopped moving, twitching"

Not part of the flick, a little extra. No spoiler...

Actually, DotD did well enough that there may well be a sequel (DotD2, or some crap like that), but i am much more stoked about Land of the Dead (which should have retained it's original title, Dead Reckoning.)

Lancer: haven't seen the DVD extras yet, but my friend has it, so it's a matter of time. Saturday nights are our time to get together, get stoned, eat good desserts and watch horror movies.

Oh, and if you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend Shaun of the Dead. More of a comedy than a horror film, but wonderful in every possible way.
