I assume you knew this was my plan? I've been talking about this the first chance I got in here in February of 2002, and ever since.. ??

Doesn't matter. You have a cute wife with two jobs.

I have a cute wife with one job, which allows me to sit at home and post on Poly all day.

He doesn't have the same regard for honesty that others do.

His ratings since October (source: http://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/...hage_21299.asp):

                    October: 3,166,000
                    November: 3,080,000
                    December: 2,610,000
                    January: 2,478,000
                    February: 2,391,000
                    March: 2,320,000
                    April: 2,178,000
                    May-to-date: 2,096,000
In other words, not so good.

You are correct with the numbers... but the emailer that suggested that all "news/political" programs ratings fall off after an election is also correct. We've seen that trend in the ratings every presidential election year.

However... they are falling faster than the usual trend

The end of O'Reilly and Fox would be a good thing, for American conservatism if nothing else.

And I reckon Ms Jolie heard about Bill's loofah. I don't blame her for passing on that action.

According to Druge's numbers quoting Nielsen, he almost doubles the ratings of all the other hosts on the news channels.

I'd hardly call it a failing show.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

Dream on Aggy... As DanS points out, he's still doing fine... He's taken a big post election hit, but his numbers still beat the hell out of a lot of other political programs...

Fox is here to stay for now, and so is O'Reilly
