I assume you knew this was my plan? I've been talking about this the first chance I got in here in February of 2002, and ever since.. ??

I have a cute wife with one job, which allows me to sit at home and post on Poly all day.Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

May-to-date: 2,096,000"Remember, there's good stuff in American culture, too. It's just that by "good stuff" we mean "attacking the French," and Germany's been doing that for ages now, so, well, where does that leave us?" - Elok

You are correct with the numbers... but the emailer that suggested that all "news/political" programs ratings fall off after an election is also correct. We've seen that trend in the ratings every presidential election year.Originally posted by Admiral
In other words, not so good.
However... they are falling faster than the usual trend

According to Druge's numbers quoting Nielsen, he almost doubles the ratings of all the other hosts on the news channels.
I'd hardly call it a failing show.I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

Dream on Aggy... As DanS points out, he's still doing fine... He's taken a big post election hit, but his numbers still beat the hell out of a lot of other political programs...Originally posted by Agathon
The end of O'Reilly and Fox would be a good thing, for American conservatism if nothing else.
Fox is here to stay for now, and so is O'Reilly
