    That would be cheating.

I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

Actually, there is a way to verify, I'm sorry to say. Who will be the first to spot it?

Thanks, Dan. That image makes me so reassured. For a second I thought the Mexicans were kicking our asses.

Yes. The shadows would indicate we were south of the equator in your flipped image.

This is sort of cheating. I've been trained by professionals in this sort of thing. In fact, I guess I was a professional at that sort of thing.

You can cast a shadow using an artificial light source in Photoshop, IIRC. That seems like it would be too much of a photo doctoring for this photo, on the other hand.
