In many states, Cheerleading and Poms teams are considered official sports just like football. My daughter earned her varsity letter this year, and her team made it to the state tournament... They practice and work out more than the Football team does. People who think it's "Sluts in training" just don't have a clue about that or many other things in real life

Shame. If they were sluts in training then something worthwhile could come out of it.

Mind you, I'm from NZ – our women don't need any slut training.

Football is good because it builds character, a sense of fair play, teamenship (is that a word?), and all that other good stuff... also, it's very entertaining.

Cheerleading is good because it's a bunch of chicks in skirts trying to lift their feet over their head, that and it's very entertaining.
