    Best firearm for the little women

    For self defense, easy of handling but a one shot stopper. Dependable, assume that she won't clean it regularly and I'll forget.

    Include price since throwing away money is frowned upon. Not portable, for use at home when hubby is away. No kids around at all.

    List top three choices please, all available on national American retail market.

    Well, considering, on average, most women use their guns to shoot their husbands, I suggest something small.

                          This is a not exactly the perfect place to ask gun advise (omglol get awp it owns in cs), but...

                          For that purpose, I'd recommend any heavy-weight (to minimize recoil) DA revolver (reliability). S&W L-frame has some nice personal defence models you could carry around while shopping and such. Can't you get any expert guidance from your local gun salesman?

                            Not that I think people should keep guns in their houses, but this is pretty much the ultimate in self-defense in the home.
