On the other hand Ned is actively promoting a nuclear confrontation.

      You make the call.
The NK use it. If they ever want communism to work then they should work against those regimes who use it to be your run of the mill dictatorships that generally cause the world to be a bad place instead of rushing to be the first to play the blame the conservative game.

BTW, i agree what shooting some missiles probably wouldnt be the best idea but perhaps the N. Koreans should be reminded that we have a few things to.

EDIT: Another thing. Exactly what is the brilliant plans by all those here? Do we do a deal? I think we tried that a couple of times and they just said **** you we will do what we want anyway and we will get more? So what is the plans of all the able minds here on poly?

Okay, have it your way then. It's not communism.

Q, since when is a nuclear threat against the United States not a United States problem. I agree that it is also a problem of Japan and South Korea and potentially a Russia and China and Taiwan. But Korea now has a missile that can reach the West Coast of United States and that makes the issue personal for me.

Ned, my response was a glib reply to your rather glib suggestion that we retaliate by launching a missile at them.

And please, when you say "Korea", these days it tends to refer to South Korea. I assure you, no matter how bad the US's rep is in the southern half of the peninsula, they're not about to launch a missile at their ally.

Ted, unless something is done, it is just a matter of time. Dear Leader is just waiting until he has the threat to take out LA and SF before he launches his attack. I take that blustering dictator seriously.

Frankly, I'm only using our missile range as a deterrent. I have no interest in actually fighting a war, just getting you American saps and your lapdogs to keep giving me money and Swedish whores.

Why would he want to ensure his own annihilation? This man has permanent access to unlimited amounts of money, cognac, and gorgeous swedish sex slaves.

Now Che is a man who understands me. Gotta love those commie pinko leftarded liberals.

I would rather there would be a war now than later when they could hit us with a nuclear strike.

Again, easy to say when it's not your problem.

Won't be America that'll be in cinders. Then again, who cares about those slanty countries? You're either white or you're wrong.

Quite frankly, I run a tight regime in my country. It's not quite Communism, but it's sorta like it with Chosun characteristics. We believe more in juche, or self-reliance, than Marx.

So, if you want to fight a war, I say it should be those of you who actually want it to fight it.

If you want beef, then bring the ruckus.

I wrote that song, you know.

                      Q. Cubed, the attitude of South Korea presents a problem indeed as we cannot go to war effectively against North Korea without South Korea's consent and cooperation. But I frankly don't understand South Korea's thinking that they would wait until the United States itself is threatened by North Korea hoping that when the United States effectively taken out of the equation by the nuclear threat that North Korea then would not invade.

Of course that would require a little backbone rather than internet ramblings so I don't expect much

You're right. Kim Il Jong never would of risen to be a leader if it where not for my personal sanction. My shameful secret is out.

I wonder where exactly teh 3vi1 commies allowed KJI to use communism as a front for NK.

                            Q. Cubed

The Q in my handle is not an abbreviation for Quisling. In fact, it's not an abbreviation at all. It's like Harry's S.

the attitude of South Korea presents a problem indeed as we cannot go to war effectively against North Korea without South Korea's consent and cooperation.

                            Thankfully.

No, their thinking, as far as I can tell from my massive palace in P'yongyang, is this: They'd rather not see 50 years of development turn into ash because some people in the United States don't like me. Besides, they can trust me... I won't invade.
