I only pretended to be English or so when people in the streets started talking about little children or fur animals that need our help. Doesn't work on trains though

I was suprised the German ticket inspector didnt nail me for having a ticket that had lapsed by two minutes before my stop.
Ive seen foreigners get away with using a return ticket 5 days after it was issued by claiming they had asked for a 5 day return and acting confused and foreign. As long as youve got a reasonable excuse and dont give them attitude then the inspectors round here are generally alright
didnt stop the bastards turning me away when I only had 60pence to my name and a broken arm though.
If I get to my train station before the ticket office opens then I can get a permit to travel for 5p how much is a return from waterloo east to yours Rich?
