Wow. I am middle of the road and biased towards free markets. Colour me shocked.

The test itself is a good indicator of what concerns the British. I didn't realize how polarized some of their parties and newspapers are.
"And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you—ask what you can do for your country. My fellow citizens of the world: ask not what America will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man." -- JFK Inaugural, 1961
"Extremism in the defense of liberty is not a vice." -- Barry Goldwater, 1964 GOP Nomination acceptance speech (not George W. Bush 40 years later...)

2008 Presidential Candidate (for what its worth)

There seems to be a bit of that going around.

              Crime and punishment, internationalism
Your position on this axis is -4.5
You are likely to be fairly internationalist and rehabilitationist.

              Economics, etc
Your position on this axis is 0.3
You are likely to be centrist.

No surprises there. Except for the fact that (allegedly) 47% of BNP voters have similar economic stances to me. Clearly they either haven't read the BNP's economic manifesto, or simply can't read.

                -5.4/-0.9

Based on the economic axis it suggested I'd likely to vote for the BNP

Somehow I only got -.3 on the economy... I think this test is broken.

You are likely to be fairly internationalist and rehabilitationist.

                      Economics:
Your position on this axis is 2.6
You are likely to be fairly free-market and pro-war.
Wouldn't have put me that high on economics and the war, I put for extra tax and being against the war I usually come out about 0, -4.5 on this sort of thing (about where Laz is)
