    Stupid test.

    Anyway, it says I'm very leftwing on the first axis, and fairly rightwing on the second.

    Using the terms left and right wrt to their first axis is, of course, total bull****. As for the second one, well, apparently being against punitive taxes on imports make me pro-war.

    Stupid test, as said.

      stupid test

      Because im not a protectionist and dont want to renationalise the railways, It tells me that im economically on the hard right.

      This is after i "tended to agree" that working people pay too little tax and "stongly agreed" that the rich pay to little tax.

      Also the comment on "an example of someone on the hard left is Polly Toynbee" made me lose all faith in the test - she's probably the most vocal Blairite in the country outside of the government.

          Wow. That test makes me ashamed to be British.

          I knew my opinions were very left wing but......I honestly had no idea so many of the population were the total opposite of me.

          Plus....why does being anti-right wing on tests like these always end with a result telling me I should vote for the green party????? Does the socialist labour party not exist in cyber space?

              I did not claim they were stupid.

              Although here I realise that is the main line of argument against someone who diagrees with you.

              I am ashamed because I do not wish to be classed in the same 'lump' as people whose beliefs and ideologies are so different from mine.

                  Any place with no diversity is basically a loser state right now.
                  Besides, look at the questions. They are not world opening questions. What do you think about social security. What do you think about this and that. Who gives a crap? It's not like people who say yes and no are THAT different.

                  Let's play a different game.

                  Do you think cows are sacred? Hindu's do not have to answer. Do you think stoning to death is a proper sentence? Do you think we should get more nukes? What is your opinion if we should turn the whole nation into nudist nation?

                    There's a political compass thread somewhere that has plotted everyone on Apolyton on it.

                    I'm the most left wing and libertarian (as I am in all the tests). All those fascist crap bags like Chegitz and St Leo are well to the right of me.

                      No more sacred than most other animals. But then, I hardly deal with cows or their by-products on a daily basis, so this question wouldnt really affect my political leanings.

                      I think it would be extremely wrong, as it would force people to not wear clothes....which is a pretty essential right as far as I am concerned. Nudists could be nudists, other could not, yet strangely enough the world would still continue. But laws forcing me not to wear clothes? That's as unfair as laws doing the opposite (which I know exist, but I dont happen to believe in)
