      Neat.
Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

Baltic religion is messed up. Kalingrad oblast (Prussia) is not Catholic, and is historically protestant.

If that wierd colour is supposed to be Armenian Orthodoxy, you've got to do other cross-shadings for Lebanon and Syria.

Why are the Social Democrats red? Is that to make them look like communists/anarchists?

The map of Russia is half-assed. There should be some Muslim majority bits in the Caucasus at least.

Also, it's sad that there aren't any no-religion majority places yet. Unless, of course, they aren't marked.

No. Of course not. Nevermind. I think it was just a stupid comment. I'm just bored right now.

It's their symbol colour at least in Germany, and I would guess it's the same in quite a few other countries.

Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?

Red usually symbolizes left-wing parties, blue usually symbolizes right-wing parties. The US parties went by this also untill 2000, when the colors were swiched, so now the Dems are blue and the Repubs are red.

heh. that's really weird from where I'm standing
In Greece the color of "social democrats" is green although they use red roses as their informal sign. The communists are red and the rightists are blue which produced a minor controversy of the time since one of the two colors of the flag is blue and some said a party shouldn't copy any of the colors of the flag.
Which leads to an interesting question: why are left parties associated with the color red? It must have something to do with the octobrian revolution?
