Well, "Christian" (just like "Christophe") is a derivation from the Christ's name. But indeed, in France, "Christian" is firmly in first-name territory, and cannot be confused with the name of the religion (that would be "Chrétien")

We have more ambiguous names, like France.

    ...

France! Now that's the right name (Never mind that it's supposed to be feminine )

You could probably use a Mark or a Dan in the mix.

For reference here are the names of kids 1-6:
            Jason Michael
            Angela Jean
            Joseph Eric
            Brian Vincent
            Rhiannon Nicole
            Sean Nialle

No wonder you're running out of names, not only do you breed like a rabbit, it seems one name isn't enough for your kids.

            How about 'Poly'.

Don't ask internet dwellers. What are you going to say when he asks you where his name came from?

Finn? (my wife wants to call a kid that - ugh!)

                                Damon (cool Greek name).
                                Graham (official sounding).

Or you could use the When Harry Met Sally test. You have to imagine a women screaming "Ooooohhh [the name]!! Ride me big, [the name]!!!

If it doesn't sound right, then dump the name.

It's a bit like the Scoutmaster test for political leaders.
