I read some recent article that said you Germans had the worst problem with alcohol in all of Europe, far surpassing the British.
Germans seem more likely to be "nice" drinkers, where the first image I get of Brits are those belligerent football rioters.

yeah, we tend to be nice drinkers, but it's more complicated that that.
us Germans have the worst problems? that includes all those east german unemployed ones. they were my neighbours for all of my life
so it's 2 sides of one coin. on one side you have nice drinkers, like me
and then, east german hartz iv people. thoseare the ones which make for the big amount of people with alcohol problems. they have been unemployed for liek 5 years or so. go fig.
