Yes, but by that reckoning you shouldn't tell parents when someone's doing drugs, skipping school, being violent. I think if you messily break up with someone, like cheating on them, you'd kinda expect them to spill the beans. They shouldn't, and I think it's awful that he did, but I wasn't exactly surprised. Many people lie and ***** about people afterwards maliciously. He was malicious but I see a huge difference between maliciously lying about someone and maliciously telling the truth.
