Frys got bought up some time back by the same conglomeration that bought the chain I used to work for. As soon as they buy something they get rid of half the staff and expect the other half to pick up the slack. Well. Amazing it doesn't seem too work. Customer service goes to hell. They also slash the benefits every year and then try to tell everyone it's an improvement...not that it matters as they broke the union last year in California and they can do what they want. First thing they did was to send around a letter about how the strike cost 30 million and how they were going to cut benefits for everyone and pay rates for new hires to make things all better.

Fry's Electronics rules! Super cheap prices and a very good selection. However, 99% of their employees seem to know less about computers than my dog, which is pretty impressive for a computer store. Just don't ask any questions when you're in there and it's all good. took me forever to find a webpage. I found outpost.com, which I assume is their webpage. I don't buy anything from it, I just use it to check prices (I prefer holding items in my hand before buying
