In what crazy world is he living in where he thinks SMS and MMS aren't got-to-have-it communication tools?
Exult in your existence, because that very process has blundered unwittingly on its own negation. Only a small, local negation, to be sure: only one species, and only a minority of that species; but there lies hope. [...] Stand tall, Bipedal Ape. The shark may outswim you, the cheetah outrun you, the swift outfly you, the capuchin outclimb you, the elephant outpower you, the redwood outlast you. But you have the biggest gifts of all: the gift of understanding the ruthlessly cruel process that gave us all existence [and the] gift of revulsion against its implications.

He's an older guy, he'll get used to it over time.

That's what I'm saying, it shouldn't do so seeing as you are "off-line".
I people can still see what I'm listening too, I think they will understand that I am actually sitting behind me PC(which in turn somewhat nulls me putting it MSN to appear as off-line in the first place)

I didn't know it still updates that. You can disable it trivially though...

True, but it should be done automatically.

            That's what you think...

In other words people know when your on-line even if you don't want them to know.

Nowhere on the official download page for MSN messanger does it say it's version 7 being offered now. So, how is 6.2 user, like me, supposed to know he is downloading the right version, or that I need to upgrade at all?

I guess they don't want everyone to start DL it at the same time.

He's at work, I called him at work earlier.

It shows the 'currently playing' to be the last song you listened to when you went offline. It doesn't mean you're online.

I wish I knew more people who used MSN, or even Yahoo; I don't see why so many of them are stuck on AIM.

Just installed this, but I've got one question:

The "show what I'm listening to" feature doesn't work for me... how do I get it working?
This space is empty... or is it?

Are you using WMP or iTunes?

You need to use the patch I linked to earlier (messpatch, from www.mess.be) to enable Winamp support.
