Too young to have seen the Holiday Special, but my parents do have a Christmas Carol book including "What can you get a Wookiee for Christmas (when he already owns a comb)" and R2D2 We Wish You a Merry Christmas".
LotR is older, spread around in a wider variety of products, and otherwise obviously more worthwhile than Friday the 13th. And best of all it has constructed languages! Not to mention maps. And it's influenced other major entertainment franchises deeply. And it's based in things that are more timeless.Comment
