    Some of them are seem dumb actually. For example, Sunbeam recording an increase in sales revenue of BBQ grills in the 4th quarter. Did they think no one would wonder about that?

      Nah-- here in Canada we think minus 30 is perfect BBQ weather

        I agree with that, but I meant that they are clever enough for deceiving the financial analysts who are likely the most stupid or the most dishonest of all the financial profession.

            That just have self-interest like most other people in the profession.

            Its the same with auditors or financial advisors. They are supposedly independent, but if they give a bad audit review the directors could change the auditors, and IFA's are given commissions to sell certain products regardless of appropriateness or best value to clients.
