MYTH: Switching between beer, wine, and liquor will make you drunker.

FACT: Mixing types of drinks may make you sicker by upseting your stomach, but not more intoxicated. Alcohol is alcohol.

Maybe, depending on your stomach. But the important point is that it doesn't matter what order either, it's the ingredients that matter.

There actually is logic behind "Beer then liquor, never sicker, liquor then beer, never fear." If you get drunk on beer, and switch to liquor, you are more likley to drink more than you should than the other way around, because of volume.

Actually, Che has a point. It's the problem of alchohol and diets - alchohol reduces inhibitions. So if you are drinking liquor second, your inhibitions are down due to your initial drinks. Depending on how drunk you are, the only limitiing factor may be volume and the social factors affecting that. Given that premise, you best bet after a couple of drinks is to switch to near-beer, that abomination created due to dry counties in the United States. Of course, then you get to ask the question - what's the point.

While I agree that alcohol is alcohol, your stomach does not get upset from different combinations of drinks.

I have to admit I am extremley biased against alchohol.

I'm against alcohol during the week. During the week I work out hardcore. At weekend I get trashed, seems like a fair deal.

                                Player,

There is actually some kinda lifting diet where you keep the carbs in check during the week, but then on the weekend you overdose on carbs, and it actually leans you out even more. I can't remember which diet this is. So it sounds like that works out for you even better.
