          You can make perfectly usable guns out of hard plastic. They can go right past metal detectors without a problem. However, they haven't made plastic ammunition yet.

                  You can make perfectly usable guns out of hard plastic. They can go right past metal detectors without a problem. However, they haven't made plastic ammunition yet.


                  I don't think that these plastics would be able to withstand the temperatures.
