actually I haven't seen the new mustang. But I heard Ford is increasing production 70% because of high demand. It must look good if it is selling so well.

But I was mainly referring to Dodge products like the Viper and the Ram (though I don't like the new ones with the angled hood and windshield)

They look pretty good although the proof is in the pudding when it comes to quality...but who knows, in the 1950s the Japanese had an appalling reputation for that...look at them now!

No way! The new Mustang is very nice looking. It looks like a cross between an older Mustang and a BMW. IMO it looks much nicer than the circa 2000 moon buggy/remote control car looking Mustangs.

Do you at least agree with me that the Scion xB (or as I like to call it, the Scion ****box) is the ugliest automobile on the road today?

Here is a link in case you've never seen it:

I've seen a couple of those around. They are bad, but not the worst.

for some reason this thread is missing photographs. How can we talk about cars without seeing them?

I take it that's the new mustang. It looks okay, but not as good as older mustangs.

What's worse? The only thing that comes close IMO is the Honda Element.

I'd buy a Chinese SUV - they are probably well made as well as cheap.

My next car will be Korean

That's China these days. I've seen Chinese realstate companies using a nearly identical logo as Century 21. Originality is extremely rare here.

I'm not sure. One of the reasons a lot of Chinese don't buy Chinese is because they want something that lasts or won't poison them. However, if they are made soley for export, then they shouldn't be too bad. If I need a cheap car when I return to the states, and they're available, I might look at one.

About plagiarism I´d say that it´s pretty rampant these days. You can hardly tell if it´s a BMW, a, Ford, a Toyota or a Volvo if you see it briefly. I don´t know about other american cars, but I guess the difference isn´t that big there either, judging from the pic of the new Mustang.

American cars were nicer looking in the past, as were the Volvo cars and many others. There´s no real identity in cars nowadays
