I guess that it is individual how much eyeliquid a person produces. I have a couple of time forgot to take mine out - typically after a party (nice form of too much to drink, and next day my sight are milky and the lenses are stuck to my eye for a time. My doc has told me that I shall leave it until it again can move freely, otherwise I may pull out the eyelense when removing the softlens.
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

It's not that bad - put your fingertip on the lens and try to move it. If you can, it's safe to remove it, otherwise wait. With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

The lenses are protected by the eyeliquid just as the eye itself is. Soft lenses comes in several types and the difference is how good they are to keep their moisture.(\__/) 07/07/1937 - Never forget

The problems with angiogenisis were with the earlier extended wear contacts. The newer ones breath much better. Simply follow the manufacturer's recommendation - which mean do NOT leave them in for three month you can create lesion, infections, all kinds of nasty results.
If somehting gets between your contact and eye the first time you put it in, you can scratch your eye. If when you put it back in it stays irritated, leave it out. And if you have a massive correction - as in you are correctably legally blind - contacts are nice because they have almost no distortion. I cannot see straight lines when I wear my glasses, hell, the ceiling looks curved. The worst form of insubordination is being right - Keith D., marine veteran. Why should it matter? It's the 21st century and contacts are just as easy to put in as glasses. Even without thinking about your looks, contacts are just a world better than glasses. I can see all over my normal field of vision, it's a little clearer than with glasses, i never have to clean glasses again
Whaleboy, UR
Whaleboy is going to ruin his eyes but not how UR suggests--Whaleboy, my doc said sleeping with contacts in overnight does something like increases your risk for eye ulcers 15x. They're not impossible to put in and out, I just put them in every morning and take them out every evening. He said little naps aren't to worry about, though--so only your grade or pay will suffer if you sleep in school/work
EDIT:
replace Whaleboy with Reds4ever
Hopefully neither of you will be insulted by the comparisonLast edited by mrmitchell; March 14, 2005, 19:37.meet the new boss, same as the old boss

I require bifocals, so I'm screwed. I wore contacts until I entered medical school, then I discovered that wearing contacts and dissecting formaldehyde embalmed cadavers didn't mix. Later I discovered that wearing contacts and being on call all night didn't go together too well either."I say shoot'em all and let God sort it out in the end!
