Oh I'm not. I'm just saying a big experience of mine with religious people (the more uber-religious) has been highly negative.

For there is [another] kind of violence, slower but just as deadly, destructive as the shot or the bomb in the night. This is the violence of institutions -- indifference, inaction, and decay. If you meet me, you won't know unless I told you or you asked.
I can't stand uber-religious people who think they are better then everyone in the world.

I dunno, who do you think?

"Capitalism ho!"
I don't know. But if you are referring to me, why would I be making a mistake?

It's too bad Jesus wasn't gay. Then perhaps they wouldn't have that thing about men lying with other men in the bible. That's one thing I hate about religious people is their anti-gay stance.
They say this man was attending the church service. It's not like they kicked him out. So it's not like those guys who lose their job and come back to take revenge.
Well I'll say one thing.. I don't treat him like that..

actually I meant people in real life. Occasionally I go out of the house and interact with real humans (not that you guys aren't real, you just aren't visible).

Well I just feel i'm respected by people like me (not religious types).. maybe that's just me then..

Some of the best and most moral people I have ever known are relgious.
religious people are on the average, more moral than everyone else.
Sure, there are some very nice religious people, but you are generalising way too hastily.

Of course religious people are moral, otherwise their god would hurt them in various very very nasty ways
I dunno, some of them gods are quite nasty themselves.

yes, but if the people at the church were carrying shotguns, this would have never happened.
contrary to popular belief, most americans do not own guns, and don't know how to use them. Most have never even seen a gun.
Yep, I've never owned a gun nor have I felt a need to own a gun. I do know perfectly well how to use both a pistol and a rifle and I used to routinely qualify with 37 or 38 out of 40 on the Army's basic rifle marksmanship course. I guess I've just seen enough guns in my life that I don't feel any need to keep one in my home.
