Star Wars rips off a lot of themes. Having a fight in a volcanic area isn't one of them.

last night I dreamed I was watching star wars episode III and it sucked . premonition maybe?

but this one does look to be better than the other 2. But monkeys could create a better film than the other 2, so that's not much of an achievment.

Is it true that this will be the last trilogy? I thought nine movies alltogether were planned? Oh yeah, maybe they turn it into a crappy tv show like SG....

There's been quite a bit of discussion and confusion for a long time about whether there will be six or nine movies total. My current understanding is this will be the last one. Lucas seems to have kept changing his mind and/ or intentionally decieving us on the subject. I've even heard talk of bringing the number to twelve, but not recently. Lucas currently says the reason for the total being six is for the story to ultimately be about Anakin. Some would like the Thrawn novel trilogy by T. Zahn to be made into the third trilogy. Some would set it later with Anakin's grandkids as young adults.

I'd watch that TV series even if it is a little crappy, which I'm not convinced of.

Brent is right. The above link has him saying now this will be the last StarWars film. It also has him comparing parts of the film to the Biblical Hell, the Devil, and a white house.... These comparisons (titanic, the devil, etc) are all his misguided attempts to lure audience members.

I've earned enough. I've worked enough to be able to fail the rest of my life. And that's what I'm going to do," says Lucas.
He's not the best PR person. But I won't throw stones at the movie when I haven't seen it yet.

Look at who he's delivering the message to - theater owners. They LOVED Titanic, it make them a ton of cash.
“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
                          - John 13:34-35 (NRSV)

Um... no, it isn't. He IS talking to theater owners, look at your link. Their favorite word is probably "Titanic".

yes but do you think Theater owners are stupid? They knew titanic was crap.

But I see your point. All they care about is the money it will bring in, not whether it is good or not.

As for this film, I'll play the wait and see approach. If you guys come back and say it's good, then I'll see it in the theaters.
