The transformation of Palpatine into an over-the-top Sidious

You are kidding right? Palpatine was the coolest thing there. He looks he's going to be as badass, if not more, than Vader in ESB.

    Badass Palpatine .

I guess I just don't associate insane cackling with badasses. Kind of negates whatever gravitas the character might have had...

So you didn't think that the Joker in Batman 1 was a badass? That's a very wierd position to take.

He was definitely not a badass. An entertaining madman yes, but certainly not a badass...

I dunno. Crippling one superhero and killing another seems badass to me.

Are you on crack? Of course The Joker was a badass. Best badass in any superhero movie.

Yeah, he was totally bad ass in his one physical confrontation with Batman. He got the living **** kicked out of him at the top of that bell tower...

"You wouldn't hit a man with glasses, would ya?"

I don't remember that happening in the movie.

Look beyond the bell tower. Obviously, the Joker was not a physically strong as Batman. His other planning and actions were definetly badass.

It was very true to the comic in that regard.
