you probably don't like these guys, but System of a Down's new album is coming out May 17! .

I can't wait that long though . These guys are one of the few new bands that I think are great, and I buy every album as soon as it comes out.

It's hard to describe their style, but they are heavy. But they also have eastern european influences, and weird tempo changes which I think are great. They have a different sound than every other band out there.

Right-O. It'd be easier if I was at home, mind.

Brazil Funk: DJ Marlboro, Bonde do Tigrao, Bonde as Tchutchucas, plus the entire Ta Dominado compo off that webiste I linked to.

Dancehall: Bounty Killer, Sizzla, Lady Saw, Vybz Kartel, Elephant Man...

Soca: Peter Ram, Iwer George, Bunji Garlin are pretty safe bets. "Stages" by Blazer is a firm favourite track if you can find it.

Chutney: Ricky Jai, Sundar Popo, Jairam Dindial, Adesh Samaroo.

Arabic Pop: Amr Diab, Yuri Mrdake, Sabah, Warda.

Bongo Flava: Cool James (though ignore the stuff he did with Black Teacher, which isn't Bongo Flava at all), Xplastaz, Daz Nundaz Family.

Filmi: Asha Bholse, Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar are the classic trio of playback singers.

Morlam/Lukthung: Jonas, Angkana Kunchai, Luk Nok Supapon, Koi Piyaporn

      and as a Bonus...

Bhangra: DJ Sanj, Dr Zeus, J12

Grime: Shystie, Dizzee Rascal, Wiley (all mainstream-ish), Black Ops/Jon E Cash, DJ Eastwood, Davinche (not so well-known)

Crunk: Ying Yang Twins, Lil Jon & The East Side Boys, Bone Crusher

Bounce: DJ Jubilee, Wille Puckett, K.C Redd (Now "Katey" after the sex change)

Screw: DJ Screw, The O. G. Ron C., Paul Wall and Chamillionaire

Ghetto-Tech: DJ Assault, Detroit Grand Puhbahs

Freestyle: Stevie B, Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam, Shannon
