  • Software Piracy - Online Survey

    Hi

I'm writing a 10 - 12 page report for a college class. The topic of that report is 'Software Piracy'. For that report I am doing an online survey to get some people's opinions and habits.

Here's the link to that survey:

I would appreciate all responses to my survey.

    Thanks
    Scott

Edit: Survey done. Thank you all.

I'll take it. I have a question, is it piracey if you "borrow" your brother's copy of a game and play it? Or borrow "backups" from your brother?

At least I kept it in the family. .

All of your reponses are being sent directly to Bill Gates for inspection. Get ready for the Microsoft police to come knocking at your door.

Thanks for all the responses! I just need 28 more before my allowed limit is filled.

If any of you want the raw results, I can e-mail them to you or post them here.

I just finished mine, so you need 27 more

I forgot to do it earlier.

I have downloaded programs from the internet, but I have never played them . I don't know why I bother. I prefer buying software. But sometimes there are just too many games and not enough money to go around.

Maybe I should have included 'downloading addiction' as a possible reason for software piracy.

Yep, IMHO there is a 'just because it's free' factor.
