    I don't know, but most of the CP stuff is quite well written, apart from the translated material from other sources.

    Anyway, CP is too middle of the road.


    Some of it is good, but some of it is crap. The problem with CP is that it doesn't discriminate between between the good and the crap well enough. ZMag, Guardian, Nation, etc. do that much better.

    I'd consider CP a progressive/radical (socialdem, socialist, anarchist, commie) magazine. I don't see that as a problem in any way, just saying that it's not representative of the Dems.

                  It's a political term - it is useless anyway.

                  The only terminology that is of any use at accurately describing someone's beliefs are those arcane things that fundies use to abuse each other.

                    It's an ideology that lends itself to being misunderstood. And whoever picked the phrase "neoconservative" for the ideology ought to be shot. They should've stuck with "hard Wilsonian" or something like that.

                              Words confuse you, don't they? I guess you believe North Korea is democratic and ruled by the people too, since it's name is the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

                              The National Socialist Workers Party of Germany was a fascist party, just like the Fascists (who came first, and thus lent their name to the entire phenomenon). The only significant difference between the Nazis and that Fascists was the extreme racism of the Nazis. Otherwise, their programmes were identical.
                              I wasn't commenting on the accuracy with which they described themselves, just that the Fasci were Italians and the Nazis were national socialists. I see very little accuracy in the words Republican and Democrat as they pertain to our 2 parties, but that's what they choose to call themselves nevertheless.

                                Let's vote the entire lot out of office ASAP. Libertarian, Green, Communist, Fascist, whatever it takes. Maybe if any of these clowns stood any chance of being unseated they'd do their jobs rather than taking a big dump on the system.
