As said in the britcom Coupling, the entire history of advancement was so that men could look at women. Fire? You get to see women in the dark. Wheels? You get to see women in other places. Intarwebs? You get to see women you've never met faster and easier than ever before.

I watched the American pilot of the show and liked it. I was disappointed that it didn't get good reviews and wasn't picked up.

DEfinitely the Brit version.. the US version was lagging and not working. I don't know why it wasn't clicking, they had the same dialogues and all that, everything same, just different actors. Then again, that made the difference.

Right, Anderson IS funnier but I think Whose Line is it anyway US version is good anyway, I like it.. However I don't know what the problem is, I mean the episodes and all were exactly the same, maybe that was a problem too.. it didn't work for anyone else but that particular group. I don't think it has anything to do with ... nationalities so much.

I'm starting to get a complex. Maybe my taste in TV stuff sucks. Shows I like are routinely trashed by the critics and the poly crowd as well.

Enterprise sucks. I wish I'd seen the American version of Coupling, though. Might not have been as bad as everyone says.

Never saw the American version... PBS plays the old Coupling and I like it.

q cubed, no no it was bad OK.. I mean, it looked fine.. but.. somehow it wasn't funny at all. It just didn't work AT ALL. Weird really.. actors were pro, settings were OK.. but that magic didn't happen.
