Yes, productivity growth of 4.4%, 4.4%, and 4.1%, respectively, is all Bush's fault.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

But that doesn't make entertaining news.
That table is all well and good but what assumptions are they using to create it? I've read the same thing as Chegitz that if Bush gets his way on making tax cuts permanent and the spending he's asked for gets made then our deficits will explode. We haven't even factored in the Social Security debacle you've been so vocally supporting.

Bush has little to do with any productivity growth but in the long term his deficits will have to be paid for by every man, woman, and child. Nice way to avoid the subject.

Lastly, I noticed you haven't anwsered El Freako's question about the way the increase is measured.

The subject at hand is productivity. There was an attempted threadjack for the budget deficit by the anti-Bush crowd, which I rebuffed.

That table is all well and good but what assumptions are they using to create it?
          They used historic actual figures.

No, The way I see it you went and posted a table to support your claim then when a simple question was asked about your table you changed the subject.

In the left wing, economic growth is really bad. This is really bad news for the leftists on this forum, I think. But to the people this is great news, thumbs up to several of solid economic growth. I expect 2005 to be similiar.

                  The long run looks great

The short run on the otherhand is very questionable. The output gap seems to be growing. That's not good, especially since we don't have any real control over it now.

So I take it you will not respond to posts about a graph you yourself posted?

I have a car but I own all of it. I can understand if you need to borrow to buy a house or a car, but you don't need to borrow on your credit card. The system now depends on people doing so, and we should fix the system by starving the beast.
