Any views I may express here are personal and certainly do not in any way reflect the views of my employer. Tis the rising of the moon..

Until much more data comes in, it is wrong to categorically state the present warming trend is due to CO2 levels, or that it is nothing more than a cyclical trend. As I am unaware of mass destruction caused by the much warmer cyclical climate of the viking expansion, it is also wrong to assume a warmer climate is automatically damaging to human civilization
you think it's a coincidence this warming trend started in the mid 19th century?

Yeah, ****ing cold over here. The hot water pipes froze or something and I had to boil water on the stove for a while...

I have been following the temperatures in Korea with some dread.

Here, the temperature staggered up to 15C, positively barmy for Korea I imagine.

It was the coldest February day since 1966.

We had -44C the other day. Even by Canadian standards that's painful.

Normal daytime high for here around this time is like -15 it's like +6 right now.

It's actually been very mild here this winter, one of the warmest on records, usually in the double figures (positive that is Canucks). It's been very nice

I like this temperature (single digits)

8-9 degrees with the sun shining is my favourite weather.
