  • Whatever your background, the fact that you believe in something, communism, means you are biased towards it. It means you look for things and interpret them subconciously as supporting it, if they can.

Your background doesn't give you bias, your opinions and beliefs do.

Ummm... The child does not have more bargaining power.

The whole idea that a deal is fair because two people agree on it needs to be abandoned, because it is obviously false. As far as deals go, I'm a communist so I believe in planning, not exchange.

Your wrong. You're saying that we are incapable of being unbiased, or less biased.

The child is threatening the mother with embarressment and upset in order to get what they want. I'd call that a stronger position.

Nobody's said it's fair. We said it's acceptable, and fine, but we're not arguing fairness. To make everything exactly fair would result in everything being bad, as it would be so extremely consuming to make every little thing totally fair that they'd be nothing left to appropriate. No deal is ever fair, as one side always has more bargaining power than the other.

          What's planning, not exchange?

You yourself have said we are incapable of being completely unbiased. That is what the definition of biased is though, having a leaning towards something.

Production and distribution is decided as a whole instead of by individuals.

I lean towards capitalism, because of my background. There is still a tendency for me to support policies and systems that benefit me personally. I see it in myself.

                  • Clearly you don't. If you are a communist, you lean towards communism. Whatever your background is pushing you towards, your experience/concience/thought is pushing you in the other direction, and that fact you are a communist shows which is stronger.

I believe in checks and balances. That's my political preference. As far as economics goes I think incomes should be pretty much equal, planning should be centralized, people should have choices, and goods and services should be produced that serve the public, and not a select few.

I don't lean towards communism. I was quite right wing until about the age of 30. I went through something of a crisis in by belief system.

I think this fairly well summarizes communism.

No, in communism you always get a fair deal because the government tells you it's fair. If you don't think it's fair, you're just plain wrong. And apparently unreasonable.
